It is our prayer and purpose to help
people grow closer to Jesus Christ. If you
are looking for a church home, or have
questions about who Jesus Christ is, we
want to serve you in any way we can.
Let me tell you what The Lord has done in
my life. As a child, we lived very close to
my Dad's parents. My grandparents made
sure that I was at church every time the
door was open. Because of that I gave my
heart and life to Jesus Christ by the age
of seven. Later about the age of thirteen,
I felt The Lords call on my life to be in
the ministry. Right out of high school, I
was called as Youth Minister to a
wonderful church just outside of
Greenville, Tx.
After working with the youth there for a
few months, I began to run away from
what God wanted me to do. I thought, like
Jonah in the Bible, if I could just get out
of town, God would leave me alone. So I
joined the Air Force with a job as an
aircraft mechanic. Well, you know how
you've heard that the Lord has a sense of
humor? In the middle of basic training,
The Lord changed my job to "Chaplain's
Assistant".
I learned quickly that you can't run from
God. He runs too fast. Long story short, I
spent about fifteen or so years as a Youth
Minister and Associate Pastor at different
churches. Then The Lord led my family
and some other families to start a church
here in Burleson,Tx. We would love for
you to come see us soon.
Are you running from God? Take it from
me, it doesn't matter where you run, He is
there. God wants to have a personal
relationship with you. Stop running, and
come experience want it's like to have
what you have been missing. Come worship
and learn with us.
